Bosnian pine
Bosnian pines originate form south-east Europe, not just Bosnia. They are found in mountains and can withstand temperatures of as low as -45C.

Leaf: 5-10cm long, with needles which spring in all directions, like a brush. |  |
| nuts/fruit:
medium size cones with fragile scales. |
Flowers:
| bright yellow cones in dense clusters. |
bark: | marked horizontal and vertical ridges which leave ash, grey plates. |
shape:
| grows to 35 metres; tall, thin. |
general: only found in Kew gardens in London. |
